Great Site; Want to Buy More Than One Item at a Time
0 % of users found this review helpful
I like the site a lot, but there are some features I'd like to see: 1) better looking maps with pictures of the campsites would be helpful, and 2) I'd like to be able to make a reservation, and buy a permit all in the same transaction -- or maybe book multiple sites at one time. Also, if I could store my information in the site, so I don't have to fill it out every time, that would be helpful too. Thanks for all you guys do!

Snowmobile Permit Website Not Working Properly
0 % of users found this review helpful
Your snowmobile permit website works poorly. While it was relatively easy to enter the data for my 3 sleds, when it came to the page to purchase the permits only half of it was displayed. I entered my card info, then guessed and pressed tab and then enter. It displayed a message that I had successfully paid for my permits but only half of the final page was displayed. I wanted to print it and take it with when we ride tomorrow so I refreshed the page hoping to be able to print it all and none of it returned. To top it off you have no way to look at my account and verify the transaction. Finally, it seems unreasonable to charge $3 handling on each permit. Doesn't automating the process save labor and expense? Very poor website.

Love the Parks

When you consider the difficult economy, challenges with the Feds flooding the reservoirs and managing tons of visitors, the Wyoming State Parks folks are doing an incredible job. I love these parks, and appreciate what you guys are doing. Thanks!

The last FMCA rally I went to, a bunch of people were stuffing the free donuts into their purses, which made them run out before the line came to an end. That's the same as the ones here who say $3 for shipping and handling for a permit is too high! Yeah, let's send some more jobs out of the country because we don't want to pay people anything more than a few peanuts. We might save a buck or two if we did that. Makes a bunch of sense, huh? You guys at State Parks, just keep doing what you're doing. We love it, and we love your people because they really care about what they are doing. At least everyone we have run into does. Keep up the good work.

Unlevel spots
0 % of users found this review helpful
I think the value is great at CGSP, but there could be something done with the RV parking spots. Many spots are extremely unlevel needing 8 to 10" of correction side to side or front to rear.

We live in Colorado and loved going camping in Wyoming. Since you have taken away the permits for out of state residance, we unfortunately stopped going years ago. I keep checking hoping you would change your ways, but to pay outrageous fees to primative camp at Glendo was crazy. We can camp in Colorado with hook ups for a little bit more. It was getting too pricey when we had to bring 2 vehicles and pay each day for both. So sad we enjoyed going a couple of times a year for a weeks time each visit. So the revenue will stay in Colorado for now, mind you we always spent money in Wyoming especially gas, for the motorhome, boat, jet ski and truck. Lots of trips to the station for more gas. So hopefully you will change your ways soon, since it is beautiful up there, just not worth the cost of fees on top of the drive.

S&H Unreasonable!
100 % of users found this review helpful
The website itself was very easy to use. The $3 S&H fee PER atv is unjustified!! I agree with another user in the fact that only one charge should be made with multiple purchases. We sold ATV permits & snowmo tags for 9 yrs out of Dubois & were not allowed to charge anything at all if people put tags on their credit cards, but yet YOU can charge anything you want to! That is just NOT the Wyoming way to do things! Strongly suggest you rethink these charges, but then again, you do so very much for us to open new trails & keep existing trails open, right?? :-( Not!! We would NOT have purchased these tags online if we could have bought them locally in Powell.

Great People -- and Great Destinations!

I know some of the folks from Wyoming have problems with the volume of out-of-staters, but hey, people come here for the experience in some of the most beautiful country in the world. Every interaction I have had with rangers and staff has been positive; I'll keep coming back again and again and again.
