We hadn't camped for many years because driving a motorhome or hauling a camper up steep mountains isn't for us. Medicine Lodge is a low lying area with access to the mountains if you want to take your ORV or just do some hiking. The campground is so well maintained...it's just gorgeous! The creek runs through or by every campsite and the numerous trees provide great shade most of the day. Trails for walking, hiking, biking or four-wheeling are numerous and varied. We loved every minute of our camping time...a first for us!
